EVENTING • DRESSAGE • JUMPING

Founded in 1973 by Martin Wilkinson, Master Saddler we are a great team of dedicated and highly qualified equine professionals. Our sole aim and ethos is to provide a personal and professional saddle fitting service which will ensure outstanding comfort and performance for both horse and rider. We offer a carefully selected range of dressage, jumping and general purpose saddles, both new and second hand, for the professional and amateur rider alike. To accompany this we also offer a select range of quality accessories including bridles, numnahs, stirrups and leathers.

Martin Wilkinson Saddlers is one of the country’s leading saddlers, and offers:

  • Extensive range of both new and used saddles including our own designs customised to fit you and your horse
  • Three fully qualified saddle fitters, for both new and used saddles who can either visit your premises or see you at ours
  • Comprehensive saddlery workshop where you can see our four Master Saddlers and fellow craftsmen at work
  • Extensive parking at our fitting centre for both lorries and cars
  • Comprehensive range of saddlery accessories with experienced advisors who will help you in choosing and fitting a wide selection of bridles, numnahs, girths, reins, irons and the latest designs of tack – including the revolutionary Fairfax bridle and girth

Here at Martin Wilkinson Saddlers we are not tied to any particular saddle manufacturer so we can stock those saddles which we think can offer our customers the best in value for money design and fit. We are agents for a wide range of saddle makes (see below) so should be able to find a saddle to fit even the most difficult of horses.

We also stock a small range of quality second hand saddles.
